First Presidency Announces New Name Change for Young Women's Classes
To help young women understand their divine place in God’s work, to represent their spiritual dignity as His beloved daughters, and to highlight their progression, we are pleased to announce the following age-group names for young women, beginning in the year they turn 12:
• Builder of Faith, young women turning 12 or 13—a Builder of Faith helps build God’s kingdom through her faith in Christ, steadfast witness, and actions that uplift and encourage others (see Ephesians 2:20).
• Messenger of Hope, young women turning 14 or 15—a Messenger of Hope carries Christ’s message of hope to the weary, speaking peace, sharing comfort, and lifting hearts through the power of the Spirit (see Mosiah 18:8–9).
• Gatherer of Light, young women turning 16 or older—a Gatherer of Light trusts divine guidance and draws strength from covenants as she seeks, gathers, and reflects God’s light (see Doctrine and Covenants 50:24).
(A Message From the Stake)
Dear Shadow Hills Ward Members;
In the next few weeks and months our Stake will be receiving and dispersing more information about the America250 in Idaho Ambassador's Service Challenge. You may have recently received an email from Sam Fife about this. To keep the momentum going, I want to share a couple of resources with you.
The citizens of Idaho have been challenged to perform 250,000 acts of service by July 4th. We all know that Idaho is already a wonderful place with people who are incredibly generous with their money and time. Many give hours of service each week. The State created a website where Idahoans of all ages can record their activities. As of today over 16,000 acts of service have been logged on this website since it launched in January, along with some great photos.
Please spread the word in your wards about this website and encourage them to become a part of history by recording their acts of service.https://www.idahokindness.com
This is a sweet video to spark some inspiration! https://www.facebook.com/reel/876129831858220 If anyone needs help finding a service opportunity, there are lots on JustServe.org
I have attached a nice flyer about the Service Challenge in both PDF and JPEG for your convenience. Medina Blanchet - mailformedina@gmail.com

From 'Come Follow Me' and the Scriptures This Week:
How To Stay Alive in Christ
“Each of us can strive to follow our Savior in His teachings about how to relate to one another. This does not mean surrendering our values. The covenants we have made inevitably position us as devoted participants in the eternal contest between truth and error. We balance our various responsibilities.
“This balancing is not easy. When we seek to keep all the commandments in our personal lives, we are sometimes accused of having no love for those who don’t. When we show personal love and support loving causes, we are sometimes misunderstood as implying support for results that contradict our other religious duties. But as followers of Christ, we should seek to live peaceably and lovingly with other children of God who do not share our values and do not have the covenant obligations we have assumed.”1
