Stake Conference

A message from the stake presidency:

Wonderful Stake Members,

We are excited to invite you all to participate in the upcoming Stake Conference scheduled for November 16-17, 2024. We want to make sure you have clear information about each session, who is invited, and how you can participate in person or virtually. For each session, there are also some scriptures or talks that we are asking you to review ahead of time. As we prepare diligently, we will be able to receive the personal revelation needed to strengthen and bless our lives at this time. The Lord loves each of you and wants to bless you through the messages of this conference.

Stake Leadership Meeting - 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM

General Session - 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Ward Thanksgiving Food Box Service Project


St. Vincent de Paul is organizing a Thanksgiving Food Box Service Project again this year, The stake has committed to fill 200 boxes,  and our ward has signed up to fill 30 of those boxes.


To donate a Thanksgiving Food Box, please sign up on the lists being sent around during Sunday School on November 3, or contact Debbie Ames by text, call or email. The cost of each box will be about $80. You may partner with other families to fill a box. Empty boxes will be available after the meeting block on Sunday, November 10. You will need to bring your filled box to the Castle Drive building between 1pm and 3pm  on Sunday 24.

The Boise Stake will be hosting the Light the World Giving Machines on Saturday, November 30th at the Grove in Downtown Boise.  Here is some helpful info for you to share with your family, friends and neighbors.  Start inviting now, so that they can get this event on their calendars!  If they are not able to make it on the 30th, there are plenty of other opportunities!   Use the PDF to print flyers and email, and the JPEG to share digitally through text or on social media!

Cannery Assignments


It is our privilege and obligation between Aug. 21st and Dec. 10th to fill 55 cannery shifts assigned to us from our Stake Presidency.

The shifts are 4 hrs. each. We cannot split shifts, according to the cannery staff.

Please see the link below to see the dates and times of service. There are morning, afternoon and evening shifts available.


PS - Please reach out to Brother Martinie or Sister Brooks with any questions or concerns about service at the cannery, and please call or text either of us to sign you up.  The google sheet is not open for members to sign themselves up.

Do you love to do family history? Would you like to help others do theirs? Bring your friends and family members to the BFCS and we can help you introduce them to FamilySearch and to the joy of finding their ancestors and doing family history.

SUNDAY SCHOOL and Come Follow Me  

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays we have 3 adult Sunday School classes being offered.  The Young Adult class is in the YW room (down the hall from the Bishop's office).  The two general Sunday School classes are in the Relief Society room and the other is in the annex (northernmost part of the building)
